I've had my share of mechanics, and finding "the one" has not been easy. I am a female senior citizen.... therefore a target for shady characters. God only knows how many times I have been ripped off and taken advantage of by greedy unethical mechanics. Shawn is experienced, trustworthy, affordable, and kind. I took my car in to have the tires rotated and checked for any problems since it was a little louder than when I bought it 8 months ago. Shawn listened to my concerns, drove it, checked it over and found no problems. He alleviated my worries and didn't charge me for unnecessary repairs! The shop is very clean and a pleasure to visit. I will be recommending Granite Alley Garage to my friends.

Diagnosis of front end shimmy was a blend of both Shawn's and my perspective. He couldn't duplicate shimmy in test drive Understandable but I definitely felt it and 3 occasions. My " gut" decision was replace stabilizer and authorized work , the old stabilizer had a small " dead spot that fit my experience. That seemed to be solution. Shawn acknowledged sometimes intuition is effective.

I very much appreciate Shawn’s expertise and honesty - he is great about telling us what service needs to be done now and what can be put off. He has saved us money every time we visit, as I compare to what the dealer would charge for similar work. I recommend him and Granite Alley Garage whole-heartedly.

Always a awesome experience at the family owned full service Granite alley garage! Shawn and Evan always go out of their way to treat all their customers like family! I can't help but go back to the time Shawn took his lunch hour to come to my rescue and jump my car and then, refuse to charge me! That just doesn't happen here in Prescott from my personal experience! I had a terrible experience recently with Daushund towing, were I donated my time to help the owners wife and when I left, my car ran out of gas. I remembered they owned a towing company, so I called to get a quote. The next thing I know, I hear him cursing, "he isn't going to effing tow my car for free" over and over . I never asked for anything for free, however, I had just donated 2 days worth of work and spent over $200 at his wife's business. I didn't deserve to be spoken to the way he did. As Shawn and Even, know exactly, how to treat people and when they consistently treat everyone the same, day in and day out, they show, integrity, decency and honor! Very rare in a Christian community!
